The Origin & Purpose
I founded Dr. Gráinne Ryan Medical Aesthetics with one clear goal: to provide patients with safe, ethical, doctor-led aesthetic treatments that enhance confidence while always respecting their natural beauty. My philosophy has always been that aesthetic medicine should never be about changing who someone is – it should be about helping people feel like the very best version of themselves through subtle, natural-looking results.
My background in healthcare has shaped every aspect of my practice. I believe that every patient deserves honest advice, evidence-based treatment, and the highest standards of clinical care. For me, the consultation is the most important part of any treatment. It is an opportunity to listen, understand my patient’s goals, educate them about their options, and create a personalised treatment plan that puts their safety and wellbeing first. If I don’t believe a treatment is right for someone, I will always say so. Building trust is far more important than performing a procedure.
The Unique Value
I have always believed that learning never stops. The aesthetics industry continues to evolve, and I feel it is my responsibility to stay at the forefront of new research, techniques, and technology so I can provide the safest and most effective treatments for my patients. This year, I was honoured to become a FILLMED Trainer, allowing me to educate and support other medical professionals in delivering safe, evidence-based aesthetic treatments. Being trusted to train fellow practitioners is something I am incredibly proud of, as it reflects my commitment not only to my own patients but to raising standards across the profession.
Innovation is equally important to me. I am delighted to introduce the Promoitalia AI Laser to the clinic, bringing advanced skin rejuvenation technology to Killarney. We are also the first clinic in Ireland to have this machine which treats an array of patient concerns. We are also very proud to have the Sylfirm X, a radiofrequency microneedling machine that also treats multiple patient concerns. Investing in clinically proven technology allows me to expand the treatment options available to my patients while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and patient care.

Above all, I want every patient who walks through my door to feel listened to, respected, and cared for. Whether someone is visiting for preventative treatments, skin rejuvenation, or facial harmonisation, my aim is always the same: to achieve beautiful, natural results that enhance confidence without ever looking overdone.
